The arched case with crossed arrow, quiver and torch mount, with down-turned cornucopiae to the sides running to the D-sided base with six toupie feet, the white enamel dial with blue Roman chapters and Arabic five minutes, signed LE ROY & FILS PAL.S ROYAL G.IE MONTPENSIER 13-15/296 REGENT STREET LONDON (hairline cracks by IX), with pierced and incised hands, the minute with dolphin and arrow pointer, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell, with punched signature to the rear LE ROY & FILS No.6610 A PARIS; rear glass lacking -- 15¾in.
