The arched case with a brass handle to stepped pediment, with rope-twist columns to the front angles and on brass ball feet, the brass dial with Roman chapter ring and slow/fast and chime/silent rings to the arch, blued steel hands, the triple barrel movement quarter chiming on five vertical gongs, with punched mark for Gustav Becker to the backplate -- 12½in. (32cm.) high
