A four case inro, lacquered in low relief in gold and red with a rooster on a black lacquer ground below a prunus branch with mother of pearl inlaid blossoms, nashiji interior, unsigned, lacquered ojime; a two case inro, lacquered with gold and red in low relief on a brown ground depicting a Buddhistic lion leaping onto rock work, the reverse with peony issuing from rockwork
