Meiji Period (Late 19th Century), First with Gilt Mark Satsuma Yaki and with Shimazu Crest
The first of quadrangular form decorated in enamels of red, blue, green and gilt with flowers, the second ovoid decorated with gilt-outlined diaper panels, floral lappets and landscape panels and the censer globular on a splayed foot with reticulated chrysanthemum-form cover and two ear-shaped handles, gilt signature rubbed on base, blue-enamel Shimazu crest
