A Samson Kakiemon style square baluster vase
after a Chelsea original painted and gilt with panels of birds perched on blossoming branches and crane beneath pine in rocky landscapes, all beneath a border of lappets reserved with stylised flowers and birds in flight to the shoulder -- 10¼in. (26cms) high; and a Samson famille verte cylindrical jar and cover, painted with panels of butterflies amongst flowers issuing from rockwork -- 5¾in. (14.5cms) diam, both 19th century.
