An Imari fluted charger
painted and gilt with a central roundel of a figure on a boat with its sail unfurled amongst foaming waves, within a border of alternating panels of ho-o roundels, scrolling foliage and geometric motifs -- 18in. (45.7cm.) diam; and a further fluted charger similarly decorated with a jardinere of peonies within panels of birds in flight above fenced gardens -- 18¼in. (46.3cm.) diam, 19th Century.
