An Imari dish
painted in coloured enamels and gilt with a central open kiku head within a border of chrysanthemums and peonies issuing from rockwork, the rim with a band of daisies -- 12¼in. (31cm.) diam; and a further dish with a spray of prunus to the centre surrounded by peonies and blossoming branches issuing from rockwork -- 10¾in. (27.3cm.) diam, both 18th Century, (both with some restoration to the rims.)
