The rectangular inro decorated in Shibayama style with a pair of cranes beneath flowering autumn plants, the reverse with a pair of pheasants and spring flowers, the birds inlaid in shell and the plants in mother-of-pearl, shell, horn, colored ivory, and lacquer; fitted with a nut ojime with flowers inlaid in shell and mother-of-pearl, with signature Shibayama, and an ivory manju netsuke decorated en suite with flowers and a butterfly, with signature also on an inlaid mother-of-pearl cartouche Shibayama Kazuyuki
