Meiji Period (Late 19th Century), with Signature Kajikawa Saku and with Red Jar Seal
The rectangular inro of oval section with an autumn landscape, the hills and rocks in two colors of gold takamaki-e and covered with kirigane, with a waterfall cascading over craggy rocks above blossoming flowers, the waterfall in silver takamaki-e with details in gold hiramaki-e, the reverse with the river meandering through a hilly landscape of blossoming flowers, the interior in nashiji; fitted with an inlaid ivory bead ojime and a laquered-wood netsuke of a noh dancer
