A Minton pâte-sur-pâte slender urn-shaped vase
by Louis Solon, carved with cupid within a shaped rectangular ochre-ground panel, L.S. monogram, reserved on a burnt sienna ground, between gilt scroll bands, the neck with stylised leaves and stamen, the lower section with similar ornament, on a square base, shape 1986, impressed mark, gilt Prince of Wales feathers mark for the Paris Exhibition 1878, paper labels (some rubbing, some minute chips to base) -- 41.5cm. high
