moulded in relief with three green vine leaves, reserved on a pale-pink ground, modelled with the head of a fox and forepaws leaning over the side of the dish, its brush partially encompassing the mottled-green underside, impressed registration lozenge, circa 1870 (the fox head with restored ears, small chip to end of tail) -- 28.5cm. wide
