A George Jones majolica 'Punch' bowl
the bowl formed as an orange half moulded with a continuous branch of fruiting holly, supported by a recumbent Mr Punch lying on his back, painted in coloured glazes, with pale-blue interior and mottled green and brown mound base, circa 1873 (several small chips, glaze crazing and hairline crack to bowl) -- 28.5cm. diam.
