This figure reputedly resulted from a comment made by a memember of the Royal Family at an annual British Industries Fair. When viewing the Britains Home Farm Series stand, commenting that 'there is everything but the village idiot'. The figure was soon to be produced; this item of doubtful taste was discontinued after the war.
