A SET OF BLUE AND WHITE DISHES AND PLATES
encircled chenghua six-character marks, kangxi (1662-1722)
Comprising one large dish, two saucer dishes and twenty-four plates, each piece painted with two figures on horseback, one carrying a bow, emerging from behind rockwork towards two hares, one hare having been struck by an arrow, all in the mountainous riverscape below Buddhist emblems and formal lotus scrolls at the border, some cracks, few with restoration
