An Anglo-Indian ivory cylindrical needle case
carved in low relief with flying birds above a ferocious mythical beast, between bands of pierced roundels and symmetrical designs -- 6¼in. (15.8cm.) high; two further cases with similar decoration -- 6¼in. (16cm) high max.; a Japanese ivory and silver needlehook carved with expressioned faces -- 11¾in. (30cm.) long; and a Cantonese ivory square box and sliding cover carved with figures before pavilions -- 2½in. (6cm) wide, all 19th Century. (5)
