(31.2cm.) long; a Cantonese ivory needlecase ornately carved with figures before pavilions in tree strewn gardens -- 6in. (15.6cm.) long; a Cantonese ivory box and hinged cover carved with panels of figures in gardens -- 2¾in. (7cm.) wide; two ivory thimbles and two ivory sewing tools; and five wooden nuts carved as bearded immortals, all 19th Century. (4)
