An Indian hardwood rectangular trunk
and hinged lid, raised on four turned bun feet, decorated in inlaid mother-of-pearl with geometric pattern motifs, applied with bronze domed bosses, pierced corner mounts and lockplate -- 26in. (66cm) wide, 19th/20th Century, (minor cracks and old wear).
