A pair of Cantonese circular tureens and broad covers
with entwined strap handles and fruit spray finials, painted and gilt with ladies and dignitaries at leisure in flowering gardens of pavilions within borders of butterflies, scattered fruit and flower sprays -- 6½in. (16.5cms) wide, 19th century, (slight gilt rubbing, one with area of restoration).
