A Chinese blue and white bowl
with everted rim and short foot, painted with ladies, gentlemen and attendants on terraces and in fenced gardens of pavilions, the interior with a roundel of three boys at play, all within hatch, lozenge and prunus blossom borders -- 8in. (20.2cms) diam, Kangxi six character mark and of the period, (two hairline rim cracks, couple of small rim chips).
