SUBSTANTIAL SIGNED PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE BASEBALL
This official Pacific Coast League ball with two-color stitching comes directly from the Estate of Cedric Durst, former Yankee player from 1927-30. The ball is personalized to named friends and signed by Durst (8/10) along a side panel. The ball reads "Hollywood Base Ball Club 1933" on the sweet spot and is signed elsewhere by six players and dated 1941 near three of them. The five significant signers are: Jimmie Fox dated 1941 (9/10), Bob Feller (3/10), Honus Wagner dated 1941 using different pen (3/10), Ted Williams along with his notation (.406-1941) (7/10) and Satchel Paige (8/10). The ball is in excellent condition overall with an attractive natural patina providing a pleasant background to the several substantial autographs. Letter of Authenticity provided by James Spence.
