BABE RUTH COLLAGE
A collage of Babe Ruth items featuring a signed voter registration card. The card is signed George H. Ruth, rating an 8/10, and is stamped DIED with 48/8/16 indicating his death. Included are two 8 x 10 black and white photographs of Ruth, one a head and shoulders portrait and the other of the Babe swinging a bat. Lastly is a black plaque with gold lettering that features a short narrative on Ruth along with some of his statistics. These are all framed within a stylized carved wooden frame with BABE RUTH painted atop in green and white and American flags on each side. The top of the frame is adorned with a split baseball above two carved mini bats. framed 33 x 35½in.
