LOU GEHRIG HANDWRITTEN TWO-PAGE SIGNED LETTER
A two-page letter from Lou Gehrig to a young fan giving advice on the fundamentals of playing first base. The letter is written in pencil on 9 1/2" x 6" stationary from the Noel Hotel in Nashville, Tennesee. Gehrig touches on the most fundemental aspects of playing the field and at one point trying to be encouraging writes "Maybe the other fellow can't catch and is trying to blame you." The letter is signed "Go to it son and good luck, Lou Gehrig", signature and text rate a near perfect grade of 9/10. The paper is in very good condition with creases where folded.
