A Victorian mahogany extending dining table
With later parts, the rounded rectangular moulded top with plain frieze, on turned tapered reeded legs and toupee feet with brass caps and castors, one additional later central leg, four brass caps stamped BS & P/PATENT, below a crown, three further leaves, two of a later date, reduced in length, the end sections with added 2in. strips, restorations and replacements, the legs possibly altered
121in. (307cm.) long extended with leaves, 54in. (137cm.) wide, 30¼in. (77cm.) high;
one leaf -- 19½in. (49.5cm.) wide, second leaf -- 20in. (51cm.) wide, third leaf -- 25in. (63.5cm.) wide
table when closed -- 57½in. (146cm.)
