Probably after a preparatory drawing for Bonasone's etching after a lost painting by Polidoro da Caravaggio, printed around 1544 (Bartsch 28, 83 III).

Similar inscriptions are found in drawings by Francesco Primaticcio, mostly for the vault of the Gallery of Ulysses at Fountainbleau
