Boyce stayed at Ilfracombe, North Devon, from June to December 1858. There are no diary entries for this period.
A watercolour entitled 'On the West Lynn, North Devon' and dated 1858, was included in the Boyce sale at Christie's, 1 July 1898, and exhibited in the Tate Gallery exhibition George Price Boyce, 1987, no. 23.
