The indigo field of 18th century Caucasian design comprising three columns of polychrome palmette shaped panels containing floral sprays around smaller palmettes divided by columns of flowering tendrils and polychrome serrated leaves, in a broad brick-red border of tendrils linking rosettes alternating with palmettes between ivory rosette, light green S-motif and dusty red rosette stripes, plain outer indigo stripe, braided warps at each end, localised areas of wear, small scattered repiling and moth damage, corroded light brown, spot stain in field
