Bornand, London, Roman numerals, large subsidiary seconds, calendar sector, gilt full plate movement with turned pillars, the backplate mounted with a simple weekday calendar, pierced and chased foliate balance cock, cylinder escapement, striking the hours and quarters on two gongs, alarm, hours/quarters and strike/silent levers in the bezel, date mechanism defective, plain polished case, London marks for 1827, diameter 80mm.
