With nickel-finished lever movement, 21 jewels, the white engine-turned dial with blank silvered chapter ring for the minutes, small eccentric silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals for the hours, single blued steel Breguet hour and minute hands, subsidiary seconds, the circular case with ribbed band, an engraved inscription and portrait of Abraham-Louis Breguet to the snap on back, together with an 18K white gold Breguet buckle, Breguet original fitted leather presentation box and Certificate No. 8239, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

This model, reference number 3699, was produced in a limited edition of 25 examples only. This special edition was exclusively made for Frank's Jewelry Creation Co., Ltd., during the Jubilee Year of the 250th Anniversary of Abraham-Louis Breguet's birth.

Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747-1823) was the founder of the House of Breguet in 1775. During his lifetime, he made vast contributions to the field of Horology.

Watch No. 5/25 of this series sold in this saleroom on April 15, 1999 for US$ 20,700 (lot 130).
