British Antarctic Expedition, 1910-1913
Petty Officer Patrick KEOHANE, Petty Officer William L. HEALD and others. A sheet of B.A.E. headed notepaper, bearing the ink signatures of 11 members of the expedition (creased and somewhat soiled), 1p., 4to, (26.8 x 21.8cm.)
Keohane is the only member of the Shore Party to sign, Heald the only signer to have taken part in both of Scott's expeditions. The remaining signatories are all from the crew of the Terra Nova: Albert Balson, Alfred Cheetham, Robert Oliphant, William Burton, Joseph Leese (signature faint, apparently signed 'Lees'), William McDonald, Edward A.McKenzie, Bernard J. Stone and Mortimer McCarthy.

R. BELL & Co. (retailers). A varnished tin-plate rectangular vesta-case, London: R.Bell & Co., [1910? or earlier], 2.3 x 3.8 x 7cm., the cover with embossed design lettered 'No.4 R. Bell & Co. London Estabd. 1832', one side with applied striking-compound, the hinged lid opening to reveal a selection of waxed-paper matches (some rust to case). (2)
