A GEORGE III MAHOGANY OPEN ARMCHAIR

The shaped top rail carved with acanthus and centered by facing C-scrolls, the pierced C-scroll carved vertical splat between outscrolled arms with acanthus-carved knuckles on downswept supports, the tapering square seat with later close-nailed gros point floral green and brown ground needlework, on square legs joined by an H-stretcher, with the pencil inscription B20074
