The bed 20th century, the needlework valances mid-18th century
The molded cornice above a blank frieze hung with eighteenth century needlework panels worked with scrolled foliage enclosing oval landscape vignettes on a red ground and incorporating silver thread, on four faceted tapering posts and headed by a molded and scrolled arched headboard, the whole covered with cream foliate cotton damask and with similar hangings with tasseled edges, tears in damask covering on footposts
