Frederic Remington used the Henry-Bonnard Foundry from 1895-1900 for casting The Bronco Buster, his first sculpture. Approximately 70 of these sand casts were made before the sculptor transferred his business to Roman Bronze Works which used the lost-wax technique of casting.
