The Fall of the walls of Jericho

The subject is taken from Joshua 5, chapters 13-15 and 6, chapters 1-27. Joshua beseiged Jericho and sent seven priests to march round the city blowing horns seven times followed by the Ark of the Covenant. Joshua then gave a signal to the priests to make a long blast on their trumpets and the gathered crowd shouted until the walls of Jericho fell. The city was then burnt and its inhabitants killed.
