A Prussian Infantry officer's sword with plain straight plated 32in. (81cm) blade by WEYERSBERG & STAMM, cast brass (probably originally gilt) guard incorporating the Prussian Eagle, wire-bound fishskin grip mounted with WIIR cypher, in steel scabbard (blade slightly nicked); and a Bavarian sword, with good 34in.(86cm) plain slightly- curved fullered blade, etched both sides with scrolls inscribed In Treue Fest; brass stirrup-hilt with fishskin grip, in black-painted scabbard (grip wires largely defective).
