A Chapka of 12th Lancers Officer's Pattern
A good cap, with QVC plate bearing battle-honours to CENTRAL INDIA in gilt, beneath the Royal Arms, Prince of Wales's plumes and the Sphinx in white metal (tip of plate missing) complete with velvet-backed chinchain and scarlet feather plume (restoration includes scarlet cloth top, boss of non-regulation pattern with VR cypher in gold embroidery on blue cloth, internal headband and lining replaced, plume socket of OR's pattern)
