Surgeon Captain Stuart Alexander Charles Dallas was a Clinical Assistant at the Children's Hospital, Great Ormond Street prior to joining the Indian Medical Service. Following his services on the Punjab Frontier and in the Tirah Expedition, he appears to have taken up employ as a Civil Surgeon in India, latterly acting as a Prison Surgeon in Chandra and the Central Provinces.
