Vize Feldwebel Georg Rupp, 14th Infantry Hartmann Regiment, was born in 1891 at Fuerth, Bavaria, and enlisted into the Bavarian Army in 1912. He was awarded the Iron Cross, Second Class, on 15.9.1916; the Military Merit Cross, Third Class, on 20.8.1917 and the Military Long Service Medal, Third Class, on 22.12.1917. Rupp was demobilized in 1919.
