Commander Michael Waller Beaufort Craig-Waller, D.S.C., was serving aboard the Cruiser H.M.S. Newfoundland as a Lieutenant-Commander when Mentioned in Despatches for Operation 'Wind Up' in the Far East, and aboard the Frigate Whitesand Bay when decorated for Korea. He was invested with his D.S.C. at Buckingham Palace in October 1953.
