built on the sight of William Duesbury's porcelain factory, painted from an original printed source, within a painted wood Gothic frame inscribed Convent of St. Joseph Derby and First Convent of the S.H.A.J. from Oct, 13, 1846 to Dec.23, 1848 then called St. Mary's, mid 19th century, the plaque -- 33cm. x 46cm.
