Cf. M. Henig, The Content Cameos, The Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, 1990, p. 28, nos 50-51; and Romans and Barbarians, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 1976, p. 179, no. 202 for cameo rings with the same inscription, "Omonoia or Concord was important to both the Greek and Roman worlds as the personification of agreement between individuals. At first, the goddess presided over the relations of cities and nations". Later, she came to symbolize marriage with cameos, in particular, often featuring two clasped hands as well as the inscription.
