THREE NEO-BABYLONIAN CHALCEDONY STAMP SEALS
LATE 7TH-5TH CENTURY B.C.
One conoid and two of octagonal domed form, each with worshippers before an altar, with divine symbols, 1.1/8 in. (2.8 cm.) high max; and a large group of mainly agate, chalcedony, cornelian and haematite Sas an stamp seals, engraved with motifs including a flower and leaves, birds, an ibex head, lion-head, scorpion, stag, a human-headed winged bull, Gayomard and male bust, including a domed chalcedony seal with five birds on the exterior, 4th-7th Century A.D., .7/8 in. (2.3 cm.) high max, all pierced for suspension(a lot)
