The broad heavy triangular-shaped blade with 'collar' at the top of dotted semicircular ribs, the square-section grip flanged to take inlays (now missing), the centre with band of horizontal ribs, the crescent-shaped pommel with midrib, 18.5/8 in. (47.3 cm.) long; a bronze dirk with crescentic pommel with three midribs, the cylindrical grip with three pairs of encircling ribs, with rectangular guard, the triangular blade with shallow midrib; another dirk, similar, smaller with triangular guard, both with remains of woody-clay core in grip and pommel, 18.1/8 in. (46 cm.) and 16.3/8 in. (41.5 cm.) long, all circa 1000 B.C.; and a Luristan bronze tapering dagger blade with square midrib, the tang pierced at the top, circa 9th-8th Century B.C., 16 in.
