CIRCA 6TH CENTURY A.D.
On a purple background flanked by orange borders, with central rectangle decorated with two standing figures, with bands of octagonal motifs on either side each infilled with a central cross, a fringe below, textile 9¾ x 8¼ in. (24.7 x 21 cm.) max.; another square textile fragment from a similar band, with central frontally facing figure within an octagon, with hooks in each hand, flanked above and below by lions within octagons, interlaced bands to either side, textile 6¾ in. (17.3 cm.) square; and a small plain textile fragment, all circa 6th Century A.D., all framed (2)
