A Worcester (Flight, Barr & Barr) green-ground topographical part dessert-service
Circa 1820, impressed and printed marks, puce inscriptions and script-marks in puce to pieces of form
Painted with named landscape vignettes, the ice-pails and covers also with bouquets, within shaped apple-green borders edged with gilt C-scrolls, comprising:
A pair of campana-shaped ice-pails, covers and liners, with gilt rams-mask loop handles and richly-gilt gadrooned rims, the lower parts with pendant gilt husks and foliage (one broken round lower part and repaired, both with chips to top rim, one finial restored and one cover with three restored rim chips)
A pair of oviform two-handled sauce-tureens and covers, with gilt loop handles and square bases (one with slight chips to rim, chip to one handle terminal, the covers with one finial repaired, the other with slight rim chips)
Twenty-three plates (one with rim chip, four with chips to undersides of rims)
The following pieces with a gilt roundel of husks in place of landscapes, comprising:
An octafoil centre-dish (slight rim chips to underside)
Four lozenge-shaped dishes (slight chips to underside)
Four shaped square dishes (one with slight rim chip)
Four shell-shaped dishes
And one plate (slight rim chip)
