Circa 1720
Painted by Francesco Antonio Saverio Grue with a coastal scene, the foreground with two Turkish merchants at discussion by a building, other merchants at various pursuits by the shore among boats and barrels, the middle distance with boats moored at a quayside with a tower and huts before distant mountains and a galleon on the horizon, within a brown, ochre and blue line rim (slight flaking to blue rim)
8¼ in. (21.1 cm.) diam.
