Circa 1825, gilt script mark and gilder's numeral .2 to stand
Painted en grisaille with putti at various pursuits within pale-blue ground gilt-edged medallions divided by paterae and joined by foliage on a pink band and with further bands of stylised fronds and diamond ornament, the cover and the centre of the stand with radiating gilt panels of foliage, the bowl on three scroll feet and the cover with oviform finial, the interior richly gilt (minute wear to gilding of handles and rim of stand)
The stand 6¼ in. (16 cm.) diam.
