Of tapering cylindrical form, painted in the manner of J.G. Höroldt with two Oriental figures, one with his back turned, flanked by shells supported by diaper panels of iron-red scrolling foliage divided by turquoise enamel panels, the top rim with pendant husks and foliage, the slightly flared cover with a stylised flowerhead with four radiating panels of gilt seed-ornament on a purple ground, the base with an iron-red and gilt flowerhead, the gilt-metal mounts with indistinct décharge mark
