A Sevres bleu-celeste gold-mounted oviform vinaigrette
Circa 1785, the contemporary French mounts with a later French import mark
The bleu-céleste lobed borders edged in gilding suspending swags of pink roses, red and blue flowers, the top and bottom with a gilt flowerhead on a bleu-céleste medallion, with hinged bright-cut gold mount and pierced grill engraved with flowers and scrolling foliage, the top with loop finial (some minor rubbing to gilding and scratching to glaze) in a silk-lined leather oviform box
