the pallus woven with elongated boteh, interlaced with scrolling vines bearing palmettes on arching branches, against a red ground sprigged with blue flowers, the square field with a palmette and boteh to each corner amongst vines around a residual black medallion, (repair), Kashmir, 1840's--132cm x 324cm
