woven in magenta with exotic blooms and scrolling foliage arranged in ogival medallions, 50cm x 130cm; another similar, Persian, second half of the 19th century; a termeh panel, woven with diagonal rows of floral boteh among further flowers, fringed and couched at the edges with metal thread-- 80cm x 110cm, Kirman, 19th century; a banner of green satin, embroidered at one end with a gilt work calligraphic cartouche-- 51cm x 236cm, Ottoman, 19th century; and a blue velvet portiere, applied with a swan with outstretched wings flanked by stylised poppies, 1890's (5)
